Join us for an afternoon of learning pretty lettering while sipping cider! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY spouse-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. Instructor Kristen Grady will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home décor and more! The perfect crafty day out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Bonsai Bar is bringing the awesome art of bonsai out of the hedged in gardens and into the North Country tasting room! Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends. The teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot, prune, and design your very own bonsai tree!

Join us for an afternoon of pottery-making and hard cider with Dover Pottery Studio! Come create a beautiful handcrafted folded bowl while enjoying delicious cider in a friendly and creative atmosphere. 

In this hands-on session, you’ll create your very own unique bowl using a variety of hand-building and clay construction techniques. This session is designed for all skill levels. After the session, the DPS staff will glaze and fire your creations, making them ready for pick-up approximately four weeks after the workshop. 

• Single 2 hour session (*NOTE: there are 2 workshop times to choose from)

• Clay provided

• Community tools available

• Glazing and firing fees included

• Piece is glazed and fired by DPS

• Pickup piece in within 4-6 weeks

Foxglove is a 5-piece indie folk/soul band from southern Maine, led by singer/songwriter Laura Fox, who writes about love, the lack thereof, and the in-between.

Her songs and her voice are soothing and soulful—if you’ve ever loved someone, you’ll surely connect with her heartfelt lyrics. She’s joined by seasoned players:

The Kenny Brothers Band is a "Mountain-Rock" brotherhood that has been captivating audiences with their folk, blues, and unapologetic grooves since 2016.
